We were commissioned to design a spiritual colouring book series for adults, combining uplifting scripture with soothing patterns to promote relaxation and reflection. Each page features intricate illustrations, with gold detailing used to create a sense of beauty and value.
Our role
We designed the covers and internal layouts, creating a distinctive look and feel that would carry across the series. Foil was used on the covers to highlight the intricate illustrations, adding a sense of quality and impact. Inside, we created in-house illustrations for the patterns and motifs, and developed conceptual chapter openers that captured themes of praise, reflection, and mindfulness in a playful and contemporary way.
Blending creativity with mindfulness
The books balance intricate pattern design with carefully chosen scriptures, giving readers a calming, reflective activity while creating art they can be proud of. Our design approach paired decorative detailing with clear layouts, striking a balance between spiritual resonance and creative expression.
Impact
The series began with Colour & Praise and grew into further titles including Colour & Manifest, each building on the success of the original. Together, they established a recognisable and cohesive brand of colouring books that combine mindfulness with faith, encouraging readers to explore creativity as a form of calm.
