DK US commissioned us to design the cover and internal template for Cooking con Claudia: 100 Authentic, Family-Style Mexican Recipes by YouTube star Claudia Regalado. A celebration of traditional Mexican home cooking, the book brings together family favourites, new classics, and Claudia’s signature dishes.
Our role
We designed the cover using vibrant Mexican-inspired patterns and bold typography to capture the warmth and energy of Claudia’s cooking. Alongside this, we developed a flexible internal template for DK’s in-house team to roll out, ensuring consistency across a wide variety of recipes and features.
Creative approach
The design balances authenticity with clarity. A colourful palette, strong typographic choices, and clean page structures reflect the spirit of Claudia’s kitchen while keeping recipes accessible and easy to follow. The cover acts as a strong entry point — bold, inviting, and instantly recognisable.
Impact
Cooking con Claudia became a Publishers Weekly bestseller, reaching a wide audience and cementing Claudia Regalado’s voice as a trusted guide to authentic Mexican cooking.
