Ebury Publishing commissioned us to design The Official Doctor Who Puzzle Book, a collection of over 160 challenges inspired by the hit BBC series. Packed with word games, codes and logic puzzles, the book lets fans step inside the Doctor’s world and test their knowledge in playful new ways.

Our role

We designed the internal puzzle layouts, ensuring every challenge was engaging, legible and true to the brand.

Creative approach

We used bold, functional typography and crisp layouts to keep puzzles sharp and accessible. Subtle nods to the series’ universe — from Gallifreyan-inspired details to playful alignment choices — gave the interiors a distinctive Doctor Who identity while maintaining usability for fans of all ages.

Impact

The puzzle book extends the beloved BBC brand into a new format, offering fans a chance to explore the series beyond the screen in a way that’s interactive, immersive and entertaining.
